The National WWII Museum

Today's site is in remembrance and honor of D-Day and all who served. The National World War II Museum opened its doors on the 56th anniversary of the Normandy invasion that liberated Europe. The Museum, which opened on June 6, 2000, is the only museum in the United States that addresses all of the amphibious invasions of World War II, honoring the more than one million Americans who took part in this global conflict.
